The streets of this neighborhood take their name from astronomers, volcanologists, mathematicians and musicians.

Pinciano neighbourhood offers a variety of architectural designs from late-Roman neoclassical to neo-baroque but also modern, preserving important examples of rationalism of the fascist period; from the facades decorated with floral garlands or dancing cupids to paintings or graphite or those decorated with pseudo-antique statues to those accompanied by reliefs and deco sculptures up to those covered in marble and those of steel and crystal.
In this neighborhood there is the most famous park in Rome, the Villa Borghese, donated by King Umberto I in Rome.
In the 16th century, during an excavation, a Roman girl in her tomb was found intact, therefore Church authorities decided to bury the body in a secret place in the area which later become Villa Borghese.

Do not miss the "Cinema dei Piccoli", located in Villa Borghese, where the first Walt Disney cartoons and the Laurel and Hardy comedies were projected.
In Pinciano neighbourhood there are some of the most important museums of Rome:
- National Gallery of Modern Art;
- The Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia;
- Galleria Borghese.

Among the many churches, in the Church of St. Eugene you can find many works of contemporary art.
There are also some of the most famous Catacombs:
- The Catacombs of St. Panfilo;
- The Catacombs of St. Valentine;
- The Hypogeum of Via Livenza.

Two of the most important points of interest of contemporary Rome can be alo found in this neighborhood: the Auditorium designed by Renzo Piano and MAXXI contemporary art gallery designed by architect Zaha Hadid.
The neighbourhood is full of trendy bars and restaurants, and its proximity to the center makes it one of the most interesting and strategic neighbourhoods for a short or long-term stay.
