Beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms located on the first floor (without elevator, 20 steps) of a historic building in the city center, in a strategic and exclusive context. It is just a short distance from Piazza Maggiore, the renovated Mercato delle Erbe, and the most famous monuments of Bologna.

Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and are provided with bed linens and towels. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting at the apartment to explain how everything works and to hand over the keys. During your stay, our staff is available to address any requests or concerns.

This magnificent 2 bedroom apartment of about 90 sq. mt. was completely renovated in February 2019 and is equipped with high quality fittings such as double glazed windows, air conditioning, and wood fans in all rooms, as well as a fast fiber optic internet connection. The large smart TV in the apartment allows you to connect to Netflix and Amazon, as well as project the contents of your iPhone directly on the screen through the Apple TV. A bluetooth BOSE speaker completes the entertainment equipment so you can listen to your music in high definition.

The apartment opens onto a cozy and spacious living room where the warm shades chosen for the wall coverings and the colorful paintings hanging on the walls create a modern and relaxing atmosphere, ideal to relax in after a day of work or after exploring the city. The furniture includes an elegant 3-person sofa convertible into a double bed (140 cm x 200 cm), 2 comfortable matching chairs, and an extendable table for 6 guests.

Just behind the area dedicated to relaxation and entertainment, there is the fully equipped kitchen characterized by green iridescent ceramics, which stand out against the white cabinets. It is equipped with a dishwasher, a Nespresso coffee machine, an electric oven, and a gas stove.

The sleeping area is separated from the living room by a corridor leading to the 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom overlooks the picturesque church of the Holy Spirit, with its decorated facade covered in terracotta, and is furnished with a comfortable double bed (160 cm x 200 cm) and a large wardrobe. Then there is the second bedroom equipped with another double bed (160 cm x 200 cm) and a niche to store your things.

The apartment has 2 modern bathrooms that are finely finished with designer ceramics. The main bathroom can be accessed from the living room and is equipped with a built-in shower, while the second is located at the end of the corridor of the sleeping area and is also equipped with a spacious walk-in shower.

This property is located in an enviable position, just a short distance from the heart of Bologna’s city center. It is in an optimal position to allow guests to explore the city on foot. Within a short walk you can reach all the most interesting monuments of the historic city center, art exhibitions, or the most renowned restaurants.

The apartment is located in an elegant context, in the heart of the historic city center of Bologna, in a historic building close to Piazza Maggiore and all the most important monuments of the city. The apartment is located near the lively Mercato delle Erbe neighborhood, a stone’s throw from Palazzo Ghisilardi, home to the Museo Civico Medievale di Bologna. A walk through the center will lead you to discover points of great historical and artistic interest, such as the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts, the famous Teatro dell’Opera Comunale, the characteristic Jewish ghetto, the Garisenda tower, and the Asinelli tower (less than 2 minutes on foot). Via dell’Indipendenza, the most famous shopping street in Bologna, is about 200 meters away. The alleys near Piazza Maggiore and Via Pescherie Vecchie, with many food and wine shops, are also a short distance away.

Public transportation:
Along the adjacent Via Ugo Bassi you can take the bus to reach the train station, the fair, and the airport.

The apartment is located within the limited traffic zone (ZTL). The nearest private garage is in Piazza Galileo (Garage Piazza Maggiore). You can buy a monthly subscription with prices on request. If you enter the ZTL, by paying for the appropriate ticket, it can be very convenient to park in the parking lot of Piazza Roosvelt which is about a 2 minute walk from the apartment. The hourly cost is € 2.40 and from 19:00 to 8:00, it is free. Alternatively, you can park at the other public parking lot, RIVA RENO at a cost of € 12 per day, monthly pass from € 180.

Information on driving in the center of Bologna:
In case of long-term stays (from 3 months on) it is possible to ask for permission to enter the historic city center. For customers who stay for a short period, the Municipality admits entry with a car in the center for only 3 days in the course of a month or for 4 consecutive days. Access is guaranteed by purchasing a daily ticket (€ 6) at the TPer point located on the corner of Via Marconi 4 and Via Lame or at the tobacconist next to the Basilica of San Petronio.

Guests are required to pay a tourist tax that is not included in the price. The fee varies from € 1.50 to € 5.00 per person per night depending on the totale price of the reservation. It is only applied to the first 5 nights.
