External Description:
Located on the second floor, without elevator - 37 steps - of a building located in Piazza del Mercato Centrale where the main entrance of the San Lorenzo Market is, the apartment is just a stone's throw from the Medici Chapels. It's within walking distance of the beautiful Florentine monuments and it is also easily reached by train given its proximity to the Santa Maria Novella central station. These streets are full of shops and exquisite restaurants that offer an authentic Florentine experience.

Internal Description:
This apartment is located on one level and is decorated in a modern style (76 / 818 sq.ft). It can accommodate up to 7 people with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, both with shower.
As you enter, there is a long corridor that connects all the rooms of the house. To the left of the entrance is the dining area with a well equipped kitchen with 4 induction plates and a dining table for 6 people. There is also a double sofa bed (width of mattress 160 cm) and a flat-screen TV. From this room you can enjoy a beautiful view of the San Lorenzo Market and the Medici Chapels.
Going back to the corridor, the first room on the right leads to the first bedroom with two single beds (width of each mattress 90 cm), a third bed that can also be a three-seater sofa (width of mattress 90 cm) and a flat-screen TV.
The second room on the right, still along the corridor, is the second double bedroom, also equipped with two single beds (width of each mattress 90 cm) and flat-screen TV.
Finally, at the end of the corridor, you will find both bathrooms, each with a shower. In the bathroom on the right there is also a washing machine.

Independent heating.
Air conditioning: splits are in the kitchen and in the two bedrooms.

Included in the price: Utilities included (for stays up to 30 days), final cleaning, towels and sheets provided, condominium fees, and agency fees.
Not included in the price: Tourist tax of € 4.00 per person (over the age of 12) per night, for the first 7 nights (for information regarding exemptions and reductions, see our F.A.Q. Page); utilities of water, electricity, and gas (for rentals over 30 days) if exceeding € 70.00.

Security deposit: For stays equal to or lesser than 15 days, all clients will have to grant € 300.00 with a valid credit card 7 days before check-in for a pre-authorization. For stays between 16 and 30 days, guests will have to pay € 1000.00 7 days before check-in. Prepaid and/or debit cards are not accepted. For rentals over 30 days, special conditions apply.

The apartment is located where the famous San Lorenzo Market is, a few steps from the Santa Maria Novella central station. This area of Florence is a 15 minutes walk to the main cultural attractions such as the Uffizi Gallery, the Duomo, the Bargello Museum, Piazza della Signoria, and Palazzo Vecchio.
The area is mainly residential so there is a variety of grocery stores, bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, and cafes. In the area you will also find Stazione Leopolda, Florence’s former railway station which has been converted into a vibrant exhibition hall used for events such as craft fairs, television and fashion shows, as well as for cultural and business meetings.

Florence city centre is a ZTL zone which means a “limited traffic zone” and therefore special rules apply to when you can enter this area. This particular apartment is in fact located within the ZTL zone so this means that if you are thinking of coming to Florence by car and wish to drive around and park, then you will need to pay special attention to the road signs, CCTV cameras and access cameras (they will show either a red/green light) in order to avoid receiving fines. Guests who need to travel within the ZTL zone by car to reach their apartment are advised to contact one of the private garages in the centre (the one nearest the apartment you are staying in) and obtain a temporary access permit. Upon arrival at the garage, guests must specify they need access for the ZTL and the garage will then note the vehicle’s number plate and forward it to the appropriate police headquarters.

This property for rent is not a hotel, agritourism, B&B or similar, and therefore by law, extra services similar to those you may find in these types of accommodations, such as a reception, concierge or security, receiving mail, provision of meals and drinks, cleaning and change of linen during your stay, and amenity kits with soaps etc. are strictly prohibited.
