Located on the fourth floor, with elevator - 4 steps to reach this luxurious and panoramic apartment which is situated in the historic center of Florence in one of the palaces built, at the beginning of the 20th century, by the famous and innovative Florentine architect, Giovanni Michelucci.
Located in Via Verdi a few steps from the Basilica of Santa Croce and the Duomo. You can easily reach on foot all the Florentine monuments, shops and restaurants to enjoy a wonderful stay.

Internal Description:
Design apartment, elegant, spacious, panoramic and very bright (200 sqm). It can accommodate up to 8 people, has 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms (including one is a toilet).
As soon as you enter you are welcomed by an entrance hall. Thanks to a beautiful sliding glass door you can enter the large living room with large windows offering a breathtaking view of the Brunelleschi's Dome and the hills of Fiesole. A French windows allows direct access to a small balcony.
From the living room you can reach the kitchen through a large design sliding door. The kitchen is equipped with professional appliances, 6 burners and a large three-door refrigerator with water dispenser. To the left of the kitchen is the first bedroom characterized by a wall panel in light blue and green colors (with two single beds, 90 cm wide each, than can be joined together to form a double bed) and its private bathroom with shower.
An antechamber separates the kitchen from this bedroom also equipped with a small terrace.
Back to the entrance, on the right is the laundry room with washing machine, dryer, iron and everything you need to manage the household linen. Here is also a small guest bathroom.
From the entrance you enter the second bedroom, also with private terrace and large window with panoramic view. The bedroom is characterized by a wall panel in dove gray and ivory colors (with two single beds, 90 cm wide each, than can be joined together to form a double bed) with a private bathroom with bathtub and shower.
Also from the entrance, on the right there is a corridor with an area dedicated to the sauna, which also leads to the other two bedrooms.
The third bedroom with a large panoramic window has a terrace with view and is also equipped with a small kitchen and a double sofa bed (180 cm wide, high quality mattress). This bedroom has its own bathroom with shower.
The fourth bedroom, also with a large panoramic window, has a terrace with view and is characterized by a wall panel in red and dove gray colors (with two single beds, 90 cm wide each, than can be joined together to form a double bed) and a large private bathroom with shower.
The living room, the bedrooms, the sauna and the passageways are paved with precious parquet, while the bathrooms have mosaic walls and stucco decorated in pastel shades.
The living room and the bedrooms are equipped with double soundproof windows, automatic shutters and blackout curtains.
This apartment is luxuriously furnished with design objects that personalize it and make it cozy and unique. It is equipped with all the comforts to make your holiday a real dream.

Pricing Information:
Included in the price: Utilities included (for stays up to 30 days), final cleaning, towels and sheets provided, condominium fees, and agency fees.
Not included in the price: Tourist tax of 3,00€ per person (over the age of 12) per night, for the first 7 nights (for information regarding exemptions and reductions, see our F.A.Q. Page); utilities of water, electricity, and gas (for rentals over 30 days) if exceeding € 70.00.
On request: the sauna can host up to three people and has an additional cost.
On request: at 50 meters from the building there is a private garage with required reservation.

Security deposit: For stays equal to or lesser than 15 days, all clients will have to grant € 1,000,00 with a Visa or Mastercard credit card 7 days before check-in for a pre-authorization, or € 800,00 cash at check-in. For stays between 16 and 30 days, guests will have to pay € 2.000,00 which will be charged to your Visa or Mastercard credit card 7 days before check-in, or € 1.500,00 cash at check-in. Prepaid and/or debit cards are not accepted. For rentals over 30 days, special conditions apply.

Area:
The apartment is located in the Santa Croce district on the eastern edge of Florence’s historic city centre. The area takes its name from one of the city’s most remarkable churches. The Santa Croce neighbourhood provides a rare glimpse of “old” Florence with lively markets and tiny leather and artisan workshops, including the flea market (Mercato delle Pulci) at Piazza dei Ciompi. The Mercato St. Ambrogio, the city’s second main food market after the Mercato San Lorenzo, is within close walking distance too. Furthermore, the area is just a stone’s throw from some of the city’s main cultural attractions such as the Bargello Palace, which houses one of Italy’s most important museums, the Casa Buonarroti, (the former home of Michelangelo), Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio and Ponte Vecchio, not forgetting the magnificent Santa Croce church and museum. You will also enjoy the largest selection of boutique shops, bars and typical restaurants and pizzerias within the city. Three of the finest and most expensive restaurants, Cibreo, Pinchiorri and Alle Murate are located nearby. There is also a good choice of mid-priced options. By night, Santa Croce becomes one of the liveliest parts of town and with its pedestrianised streets and illuminated buildings it transforms into the perfect venue for an after-dinner glass of wine or evening stroll. For those choosing an apartment in this area Santa Croce offers several food stores, supermarkets, laundrettes and individual gift shops as well as being adequately served by the local public transport service.

Parking:
Florence city centre is a ZTL zone which means a “limited traffic zone” and therefore special rules apply to when you can enter this area. This particular apartment is in fact located within the ZTL zone. Under the building is a private garage called "Garage Verdi" which can be accessed from Via Giovanni da Verrazzano. Please contact the garage directly for getting the detailed prices. If you are thinking of coming to Florence by car and wish to drive around and park, then you will need to pay special attention to the road signs, CCTV cameras and access cameras (they will show either a red/green light) in order to avoid receiving fines. Right below the building there is a private garage called "Garage Verdi" which can be accessed from Via Giovanni da Verrazzano. Guests who need to travel within the ZTL zone by car to reach their apartment are advised to contact one of the private garages in the centre (the one nearest the apartment you are staying in) and obtain a temporary access permit. Upon arrival at the garage, guests must specify they need access for the ZTL and the garage will then note the vehicle’s number plate and forward it to the appropriate police headquarters.

This property for rent is not a hotel, agritourism, B&B or similar, and therefore by law, extra services similar to those you may find in these types of accommodations, such as a reception, concierge or security, receiving mail, provision of meals and drinks, cleaning and change of linen during your stay, and amenity kits with soaps etc. are strictly prohibited.
