Refined apartment with 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms located on the second floor (with elevator) of an elegant historic building on the most exclusive street in the historical city centre of Bologna, Via Castiglione. Via Castiglione is an elegant, characteristic porticoed street, with boutiques and shops, and is just a short walk from Piazza Maggiore, the markets in Piazza Minghetti, and the exclusive shopping area in Galleria Cavour.
This 95 sq. mt. apartment was renovated in August 2018 and is equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay for our guests. The property is characterized by high quality finishes, which include parquet, the latest-generation anti-noise fixtures, air conditioning, and central heating. The furnishings are custom-made. The extensive use of fine woods modeled on contemporary lines creates a warm atmosphere that still manages to be extremely current. There are no steps to access the apartment, which is also very quiet since it overlooks an internal courtyard.
The entrance opens up onto a living area dedicated with the latest 46” Smart TV that has been placed in front of a large sofa, which can be transformed into 3 single beds (80 x 200 cm). A passage separates this area from the dining room, which leads to the separate kitchen. With beautiful original tiled floors, the kitchen has an electric oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, and a gas stove. There is also a breakfast corner in the dining room inside a custom-made piece of furniture, where you can find the microwave, toaster, and Nespresso coffee machine.
The apartment has two bedrooms upstairs, accessible with a wooden staircase and overlooking the living room through an opening with protective tempered glass. The master bedroom has large wardrobes and is furnished with a double bed (160 x 200 cm). There is an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
The second bedroom is equipped with 2 single beds (80 x 200 cm) that can be joined to make a double bed. There is also another single sofa bed (80 x 200 cm). Between the 2 bedrooms there is a large walk-in closet where you can store your things.
In addition to the private bathroom of the master bedroom, the apartment has 2 other bathrooms, accessible from the dining room. Both of these bathrooms have a glass shower stall.
Household cleaning materials and the washing machine are available in the anti-bathroom.

The apartment is located on Via Castiglione, a less than 5 minute walk from Piazza Maggiore and the Torre degli Asinelli. It is immersed in the tranquility and elegance of the most exclusive area of Bologna, on a picturesque street characterized by the famous porticoes of Bologna. Nearby you can find the Rizzoli Hospital and the most renowned private clinics of the city, as well as the beautiful park of the Margherita Gardens.
In just a short walk from the apartment there are some of the most interesting meeting places in the city: from Piazza Minghetti, to the refined Santo Stefano pizzerias, without forgetting the crowded streets of the quadrilateral, an ideal place to taste local delicacies. Along Via Castiglione, there are various commercial activities and, less than 200 meters from the apartment, there is a supermarket on Via Farini.
The apartment is located in a well connected position to reach the rest of the city by public transportation thanks to the buses that pass along Via Farini. These allow you to directly reach the station (in about 15 minutes) and the Fiera di Bologna (in about 25 minutes).
The apartment is situated within the ZTL zone so there are some traffic restrictions. Entry to the city centre is only allowed from 8 pm to 6 am. Parking within the blue lines is for a fee during the day and free during the night. You can park at the San Tommaso d’Aquino University College, on Via San Domenico, 1 for € 10 per day. Quotes for monthly passes are on request. Entry is on Viale 12 Giugno to request permission to access the historic center.
Important: guests are required to pay a city tax, not included in the price. The fee varies from €1.50 to €5.00 per person per night depending on the total price of the booking. The city tax applies only to the first 5 nights.
