Greve inVilla Il Prato is a wonderful rental villa in the chianti which sleeps a total of 16 guests and thanks to a careful restoration, the estate combining the rustic style with all the modern comforts has now been converted in to idyllic accommodation for rent.
External Description:
The estate located just on the outskirts of Greve in Chianti is made up of three beautiful buildings all within 20 feet of one another, the main stone farmhouse, a cottage and a brand new one bedroom suite. The property also boasts a wonderful swimming-pool and private garden.
Internal Description:
The main villa sleeps up to 12 guests, the cottage up to 4 guests for a total of 16 guests.
The main Villa
On the ground floor you will find: the professional kitchen with access onto the patio where you will find an elegant outside dining area, the formal dining room, the spacious living room with fireplace, the TV room and 2 lovely double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.
On the first floor you will find: 4 bedrooms (2 doubles and 2 twins) with en-suite bathrooms (3 have a shower and one has a tub with hand held shower), most of them also overlooking the breathtaking Chianti countryside. Four of the bedrooms (2 on the ground floor and 2 on the upper floor) have air conditioning.
The Cottage: On the ground floor you will find: the entrance hall with dining table, the living room with fireplace, attractive kitchen and guest bathroom (only wc).
On the first floor: 1 queen size bedroom with en-suite bathroom (with shower) and 1 twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom (with shower).
Pricing Information:
Villa + Cottage: the weekly price is 16.300 € in high season, 14.000 € in mid season and 10.250 € in low season.
The property can only be rented on a weekly basis and from Saturday to Saturday. In case your dates differ, please specify this in your request.
The three properties can be rented out according to the size of your party:
If there are 12 people in your party then you can book the Villa on it’s own for a lower price than what is stated above.
If there are 14 people in your party then you can just book the Villa + Suite for a lower price too.
If there are 18 people in your party then you can book the Villa + Cottage + Suite.
Whatever combination of properties you choose, the estate will never be rented out to any other customers during your stay so 100% privacy is guaranteed.
Security and Breakages Deposit:
All guests must pay a security deposit of 2.000 € on check-in. The security deposit will be returned on check-out in full, subject to any deductions for damages caused and/or payment for additional services requested throughout the stay. The security deposit may be paid in cash only (Euro, or US$ or GB£ equivalent). Cheques and credit cards will not be accepted.
Air conditioning in many of the bedrooms, very functional and modern bathrooms, professional kitchen (big oven, microwaves oven, American fridge, etc.), Flat screen TV with satellite TV (Sky), Broad Band Internet connection throughout the house. The swimming pool that measures 16x5 meters has a very nice view on the countryside. There are inviting outdoor places for dining and relaxing in the most peaceful Tuscan countryside. Garden, private swimming pool (open from 1st June – 30th September) with garden furniture, parking. Please see below for what is included and excluded from the price.
Included in the rental price:
- Final Cleaning
- Cleaning: 5 hours per day 7 days per week
- Preparation of breakfast daily, not including grocery costs
- All utilities, including air conditioning
- Broadband internet access
- Use of gym with its equipment and machinery and 4 mountain bikes
- Linen and towel change, including pool towels: twice weekly
- Garden and swimming pool maintenance
Not included in the rental price:
- Telephone: there is a small office at the property which has a computer, telephone, fax and printer, use of which is charged
- Heating: available from 1 November to 30 April: charged at 375 euro per week

- Additional linen and towel change

- Additional maid service

- The staff lives in an independent house that makes part of the property
