The Residence Corniola is located on the 4th and last floor of the historical residence called Palazzo Coli Bizzarrini, once known as Francesconi. Dating back to 1520, the project and the early stages of construction of this fabulous building can be traced back to one of the most famous architects of the Renaissance period, Baldassare Peruzzi, and the actual building work was carried out by Pietro Cataneo. The palazzo was actually left "incomplete" in some parts and this has become one of the building’s main features and quite a charm for the people who choose to stay there. In 1906, the Coli Bizzarrini family bought the property and enhanced it’s original beauty thanks to a long and detailed restoration programme. This included restoring the magnificent frescoes and paintings which span a time frame of more than three centuries. The palace has been meticulously and beautifully restored by the present owners to create 8 luxury apartments. Each apartment allows guests to enjoy the magic atmosphere of Siena. The apartments overlook the rooftops and medieval narrow streets of this wonderful city which creates a charming blend of art and history that continuously fascinates the onlooker. The present owners have recreated the original atmosphere of a time long ago, but at the same time have brought new life to every room to provide a cosy and elegant home from home experience.

Internal Description:
This bright apartment of 80 m² has one spacious double bedroom and one full bathroom with shower, a nice lounge / dining room, complete with an extra bed, and original beamed ceilings as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The Residence Corniola can comfortably sleep up to 3 people and being located on the 4th and last floor of the building, it not only has beamed ceilings which have been beautifully renovated and restored to their former glory, but also enjoys a splendid view over the rooftops of Siena. The bathroom has a shower and a window overlooking the courtyard of the palace and the spacious living room, elegantly furnished with period furniture and fabrics, overlooks Piazza Gramsci and has air conditioning and a plasma TV. The apartment can be reached by using the elevator located in the courtyard.

Excluded from the price:
For rentals over 30 days all clients must sign an Italian Rental Contract which is obligatory under Italian law for which the cost is equal to 1% of the total rental fee, plus 30,00 Euros for revenue stamps.
For rentals of 61 days or more the utility bills are charged based on meter readings.
Extra service on request: daily cleaning €15/ hour.

Security Deposit:
On arrival guests will be required to provide credit card details as a guarantee for the security deposit for the following amounts:
- For rentals of 14 days or less: 1000€
- For rentals of 15 days or more: 2000€
- For rentals of 60 days or more the deposit shall be equal to 2 month’s rent
