External Description:
This apartment is located on the fourth floor without elevator (94 steps) and it is very bright. It has been restored in every details with modern and elegant style. The large windows offer a beautiful view of Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery.
Given the luxury interiors and high standard of the apartment we do not recommend this apartment to students.
Internal Description:
The apartment (120sqm) has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and it can accomodate 5 people. As you enter, you will find: the dining area that offers a pleasant view on Palazzo Vecchio, the living room, the fully equipped kitchenette, the master bedroom with Palazzo Vecchio's view, the twin bedroom with bathroom en suite with shower, the single bedroom, the second bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi. Upstairs you will find a useful laundry area. Floors are in parquet and "cotto fiorentino" and there are beamed ceilings.
Pricing Information:
The prices are all inclusive of utilities and condominium expenses with the exception of the final cleaning at the cost of 80,00 euros to be paid at Check In.
For rentals of 61 days or more the utility bills (Gas, Water, Electricity) are charged based on meter readings taken at Check In/Out and the final cleaning at the cost of 100,00
N.B For rentals of over 30 days all clients must sign an Italian Rental Contract which is obligatory under Italian law and the cost is equal to 1% of the total rental fee, plus 30,00 Euro of stamps.
Security Deposit:
On arrival guests will be required to provide credit card details as a guarantee for the security deposit for the following amounts:
- For rentals of 14 days or less: 1000€
- For rentals of 15 days or more: 2000€
- For rentals of 60 days or more the deposit shall be equal to 2 month’s rent.
Destinations
Modern apartment located in the heart of Florence in the Duomo area.The area is limited to certain vehicles, and therefore we advise you to leave your car in one of the several private garages in the vicinity. The Duomo neighbourhood is rich with restaurants, shops botteghe, museums and other premises typical to the historical centre of Florence. The Pontevecchio is a stone's throw away. You can easily reach the Piazza Duomo, Palazzo Signoria, and Piazza Santa Croce.
Not only is on-street parking in Florence extremely difficult to find but also since the historical centre (including the area where the apartment is located) is in the ZTL (a restricted traffic zone) non-residents are prohibited from entering the city centre and driving around during certain hours. Unrestricted access is only granted between the hours of 7.30pm and 7.30am Monday - Saturday (times subject to variations depending on the period of year). We advise you to leave your car in one of the several private garages in the vicinity as most garages will be able to provide you with a 1 hour permission to enter the centre during the restricted hours (only to drop off/pick up luggage).
