The apartment is located inside Palazzo Medici, an impressive building (Palazzo) dating back to the XVI century which represents a typical example of true Florentine architecture. A recent restoration has skillfully combined modern comforts and luxury furnishings alongside the building’s original historic features: serene stone columns, magnificent frescoes and coffered or paneled wooden ceilings.
Internal Description:
This apartment (60sqm) is located on the 3rd floor and consists of a bright living-room with sofa bed (160 cm) and small dining area, an elegant kitchen with dining table, bathroom with shower, a small laundry area, and the master bedroom in the loft.
Pricing Information:
The prices are all inclusive of utilities, condominium expenses and final cleaning except for rentals of 61 days or more when the following extra charges apply:
Utility Bills: charged based on meter readings taken at Check In/Out
N.B Telephone calls made using the apartment phone are not included (calls are charged at local rates).
N.B For rentals of over 30 days all clients must sign an Italian Rental Contract which is obligatory under Italian law and the cost is equal to 1% of the total rental fee, plus 30,00 euros for stamps.
Security Deposit:
On arrival guests will be required to provide credit card details as a guarantee for the security deposit for the following amounts:
- For rentals of 14 days or less: 1000€
- For rentals of 15 days or more: 2000€
- For rentals of 60 days or more the deposit shall be equal to 2 month’s rent.
Destinations
The apartment is located in the heart of the Oltrarno neighbourhood, not far from the church of Santo Spirito and Ponte Vecchio, and is one of the most historic parts of the city. The Oltrarno is characterized by narrow cobble-stone streets well-known for the many authentic workshops belonging to famous Florentine artisans, not to mention the many cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, theatres and museums.

Parking
Not only is on-street parking in Florence extremely difficult to find but also since the historical centre (including the area where the apartment is located) is in the ZTL (a restricted traffic zone) non-residents are prohibited from entering the city centre and driving around during certain hours. Unrestricted access is only granted between the hours of 7.30pm and 7.30am Monday - Saturday (times subject to variations depending on the period of year). We advise you to leave your car in one of the several private garages in the vicinity as most garages will be able to provide you with a 1 hour permission to enter the centre during the restricted hours (only to drop off/pick up luggage).
