The apartment is located inside Palazzo Salviati, a 15th Century building which was completely restored in 1996 under the strict ordinance of the Belle Arti (Fine Arts Commission). The building is considered to be a classic example of late Medieval Florentine architecture and is preserved as one of the city’s historical monuments. The splendid stone facade, the magnificent serena stone staircase and the 15th Century frescoes are just some of the main characteristics that this wonderful building has to offer. Furthermore, on the second floor there is a small terrace at disposal of all the guests.
Internal Description:
This charming and sophisticated apartment (190 m2) has 4 wonderful bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and can sleep up to 8 people. The Brunelleschi apartment is on two levels and comprises a large and elegant living-room with antique coffered ceilings, a dining-room, a modern, fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom (with separable beds) and en suite bathroom with shower and a spacious closet, a double bedroom (with separable beds) decorated with superb 15th Century frescoes and original coffered ceilings, with en suite bathroom with bathtub, a double bedroom (the beds cannot be put together) also decorated with frescoes and bathroom with bathtub. On the upper floor there is a master bedroom with en suite very elegant bathroom with shower and walk-in closet. There is also a small laundry room and a storage room. The old cotto style floors that have been well-maintained and the wooden floors, coffered ceilings, and frescoes give this apartment a very elegant and historic style and atmosphere.
Pricing Information:
The prices are all inclusive except for rentals over 60 days when the following extra charges apply:
Utility Bills: charged based on meter readings taken at Check In/Out
Final cleaning : 170,00 Euro to be paid at Check In
N.B All the phone calls made from the apartment phone are charged at standard rates
Security Deposit:
On arrival guests will be required to provide credit card details as a guarantee for the security deposit for the following amounts:
- For rentals of 14 days or less: 1500€
- For rentals of 15 days or more: 3000€
- For rentals of 60 days or more the deposit shall be equal to 2 month’s rent.
Destinations
The apartment is situated in one of the liveliest quarters of the historic centre, around Piazza Santa Croce (only 100 meters away!) and the famous Bargello Museum. The neighbourhood is full of restaurants, theatres, museums and shops to satisfy any taste. In mid June Piazza Santa Croce is set up for the colourful event of the Calcio Storico Fiorentino (litt. Florentine historical soccer).
Through the typically narrow streets of the medieval core of town, you can easily reach Piazza Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery.

Parking
Not only is on-street parking in Florence extremely difficult to find but also since the historical centre (including the area where the apartment is located) is in the ZTL (a restricted traffic zone) non-residents are prohibited from entering the city centre and driving around during certain hours. Unrestricted access is only granted between the hours of 7.30pm and 7.30am Monday - Saturday (times subject to variations depending on the period of year). We advise you to leave your car in one of the several private garages in the vicinity as most garages will be able to provide you with a 1 hour permission to enter the centre during the restricted hours (only to drop off/pick up luggage).
