  • 1.0/5 The location is fantastic, just 2 minutes walk from the Pantheon. A rough looking front doorway leads up a winding flight of narrow stairs to the first level entry. A small kitchen, and two windows, one tiny the other a little larger overlook the sometimes quite noisy street. A small sitting area and a couch/second bed lead to the windowless rear of the apartment with comfortable double bed, hanging space and minute bathroom. The shower is very small, dark, and during our stay the water drained very slowly. Any more than 3 minutes showering would mean an overflow. Bathroom basin had similar issues. We checked out on a Sunday and the young man who came to collect the key hit us for an extra 20 euro fee of which there was no advance warning for coming on a Sunday morning. I emailed Halldis asking if this was legitimate but a month later no reply. No wifi. Overall it was ok. Some minor issues were compensated by a fantastic location. Wonderful to be able to walk the streets of Rome, take a short break in the apartment, then continue your walking adventures in this wonderful city immediately outside your front door!
