The apartment is located in the Appio Latino district, not too far from Rome city centre.
Here you can visit the famous Villa Lazzaroni, a farm transformed into an elegant noble palace at the end of the XIX century. Nowadays it still offers plenty of olive trees, living traces of the its history, bay trees and an almost 130-years-old almond tree.

The district develops along Via Appia Nuova, that starts at Porta San Giovanni, close to San Giovanni in Laterano Basilica. The area is very well served by public transports -not only bus lines, but first and foremost the A subway line, which follows the Via Appia itself.
In 5 stops (Colli Albani, Furio Camillo, Ponte Lungo, Re di Roma and San Giovanni), you easily reach the most important points of interest located along the road.

From Piazzale Appio up to Largo dei Colli Albani, on both sides of the street, you find plenty of shops and malls: for this reason, Via Appia is reckoned as the most important shopping street in Rome, besides the city centre.

Piazza San Pietro is approximately 30 minutes away (by subway); San Giovanni basilica is at 30 minutes on foot (2,4 km) and La Sapienza University at 28 minutes (3,8 km).
