Elegant and spacious apartment located in Florence in the Duomo area. It is ideal for short term rentals. It can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people, has 3 bedrooms and 2 complete bathrooms.

Situated on the fourth floor, without elevator , 94 steps to climb, of a building on via Lambertesca. Extremely close to two of the most important monuments in Florence: the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi. The apartment has been completely renovated and has been furnished with a very Florentine style. Thanks to the large windows there is a beautiful view of Palazzo Vecchio.
Modern apartment (120 / 1291 sq.ft) with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people. As the guest enters, they will find themselves in the large living room with couches on one end and a dining table on the other. In the dining room there is a large window that allows for a pleasant view of the Palazzo Vecchio. Next there is the fully equipped kitchen that also has another smaller table. The double bedroom with twin beds is next to the kitchen and has an ensuite bathroom with shower. Across from this bedroom is the master bedroom that has a decorative fire place and a large window with another spectacular view of the Palazzo Vecchio. The single bedroom is next to the double bedroom and also has a large window. Next to it is the last bathroom that has a shapely jacuzzi and shower. Upstairs there is a useful laundry area.

Pricing Information:
Included in the price: Utilities included up to € 320.00 (for stays up to 30 days), final cleaning, towels and sheets provided, condominium fees, and agency fees.
Not included in the price: Tourist tax of €3,00 per person (over the age of 12) per night, for the first 7 nights (for information regarding exemptions and reductions, see our F.A.Q. page), utilities of water, electricity, and gas (for rentals over 30 days) if exceeding € 320.00; fee for registering the contract (which in accordance to Italian law must be written in Italian), for rentals over 30 days, equal to 1% of the total rental price (with a minimum fee of € 33.50) plus tax stamps.

Security deposit: For stays equal to or lesser than 15 days, all clients will have to grant € 300.00 with a valid credit card 7 days before check-in for a pre-authorization. For stays between 16 and 30 days, guests will have to pay €1000.00 7 days before check-in. Prepaid and/or debit cards are not accepted. For rentals over 30 days, special conditions apply.

The apartment is located within Duomo district in Florence’s historic city centre. The Duomo area constitutes the very heart of Florence and the area takes its name from Brunelleschi’s magnificent dome on the wonderful Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral. The Duomo neighbourhood offers an array of beautiful historical buildings and superb piazzas including the Mercato di San Lorenzo, the Piazza del Duomo and Piazza della Repubblica, famous for its attractive cafes, patisserie shops, live music, street performers and caricature artists. Furthermore, the area is surrounded by the city’s main cultural attractions, notably Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, the Bargello Palace and Casa Buonarroti, the former home of Michelangelo, not to mention the Uffizi Gallery and the museum dedicated to the city’s cathedral “Museo dell'Opera del Duomo”.
The area also has much to offer in terms of fine dining and exclusive boutique shopping. The top Italian fashion houses are located along Via Tornabuoni, Via Calzaiuoli and Via del Corso and include the famous names of Salvatore Ferragamo, Armani, Versace, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Tiffany & Co. and many more. For those choosing an apartment in this area, the Duomo quarter also offers several food stores otherwise known as “alimentari”, supermarkets, laundrettes and individual gift shops as well as being adequately served by the local public transport service.

  • 5.0/5 The apartment exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, so close to everything which was helpful with two small children (4½ & 1½) as it meant when it got too hot or crowded we could just pop back for a quiet hour or so. The many steps to the apartment were less of an issue than we thought and just meant we earned our daily gelato. The Windows on Italy team were incredibly helpful and understanding of any challenges of travelling with small children. We couldn't have asked for more.
