Comfortable one-bedroom apartment located in a recently-renovated building in Via Farini, close to subway stop Maciachini (yellow line, MM3) and Garibaldi railway station.

All the 16 apartments of the Farini complex have been recently refurbished and offer a comfortable, functional environment.
The one bedroom apartments (two) belonging to this cathegory have floor surface of approx. 50-62 sq.mt, and they are located on either the first or the second floor (with elevator).

The property opens onto the day area, furnished with a double sofa bed and a TV set; the open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, induction cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, and it also features an extendable dining table seating up to 4 people.
The day area has parquet flooring except in the kitchenette, which is fitted with pearl gray tiles instead.

The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, a big wardrobe and a chest of drawers with mirror. The floor is covered in natural wooden parquet.
The night area also comprises a spacious box room where to store clothes and personal belongings.

The apartment is completed by a small bathroom -with tiled flooring- equipped with shower, toilet and washing machine.

The guests must climb some steps to take the elevator on the ground floor: 5 steps INSIDE the building + 3 more steps OUTSIDE the building.

The apartment enjoys a strategic position close to Garibaldi station and to Isola, one of the districts in Milan that has benefitted the most from the massive renovation process ahead of Expo 2015.

Around you find : Maciachini district (to the north), the Central Station (to the east), the thriving districts around Corso Como and Corso Garibaldi (to the south) and the former Scalo Farini (to the west), which is now home to a typical ‘Milanese’ restaurant (‘osteria’), perfect for family lunches and happy hour.

The area is undergoing important changes and is involved into the new architecture project of Porta Nuova: the main buildings are the Unicredit Tower –the tallest in Italy– Piazza Gae Aulenti, designed by the Argentinian architect Cesar Pelli, the ultra-modern and eco-friendly ‘Bosco Verticale’ (the ‘Vertical Forest’) by Stefano Boeri, the ‘Pyramid’ and the marvellous Porta Nuova Gardens, developing on a surface of approximately 90.000 sq.mt.

Services in the area: across from the building there is a Carrefour supermarket; in the area there are many restaurants, bars and pubs.

Public transports
The closest subway stop is Maciachini (yellow line, MM3), at 5 minutes on foot ; Isola subway stop (purple line MM5) is at 800 meters; Via Farini is also served by tram lines 2 and 4.
Garibaldi station is at 1 km (railway station and green subway line MM2).

Paid parking in the area. Parking places are also available at the nearby Carrefour shopping centre (2,00€/h).
