The area is restricted to traffic, we therefore suggest that you leave your cars in the nearby garages. The neighbourhood is full of restaurants, theatres, museums and shops to satisfy any taste. In mid June Piazza Santa Croce is set up for the colourful event of the Calcio Storico Fiorentino (litt. Florentine historical soccer). Through the typically narrow streets of the medieval core of town, you can easily reach Piazza Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery. Daytrips to Siena (70km), Lucca (80 km), Pisa (95 km) are really easy to organize due to their closeness to Florence.

The splendid stone façade, the magnificent pietra serena-stone staircase, the wooden Renaissance coats of arms and the XV century frescoes enhance the elegance of the palace. On the second floor there is a small terrace at disposal of all the guests, which offers a spectacular panorama over the city.
