The apartment is located in the old neighbourhood of Santo Spirito, a few steps from the Arno River, and not far from the Ponte Vecchio. The area is characterized by tiny streets and typical districts, in which many authentic shops and famous workshops of Florentine artisans remain even today.
External Description:
Palazzo Medici represents a typical example of Florentine architecture of the XVI century. A recent restoration has skilfully united both modern and ancient elements. Serene stone columns line the inner courtyard, and some apartments are decorated with magnificent frescoes.
Internal Description:
Situated on the top floor of a prestigious 16th century building, this apartment is skillfully organized to create distinct, divided areas, yet open, resembling a studio. The entrance, into the living-room (with a 160 cm sofa bed) and the dining area, is connected to the kitchen, but has a divider. On the opposite side, behind the wooden divider, is the very comfortable double bed. The marble bathroom is complete with bath-tub, and there is also a small powder room situated in the laundry room.
