LOCATION:
Elegant apartment located in the city centre of Florence, between Piazza Santo Spirito and Piazza della Signoria. The area is limited to certain vehicles, and therefore we advise you to leave your car in one of the several private garages in the vicinity (the nearest one it is the garage Lungarno). The neighbourhood is rich with restaurants, theatres, museums and other premises typical to the historical centre of Florence. Through the characteristic narrow streets, you can easily reach the Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio, and the Uffizi gallery. It is also possible to make excursions outside of Florence : Siena only 70km. away, Lucca 80 km., Pisa 95 Km.

EXTERNAL DESCRIPTION:
The apartment is found on the mezzanine floor (16 steps without elevator, 9 steps with elevator) The three windows offer a wonderful panorama over the city and Pontevecchio. At the ground floor, before entering the building, there is a famous terrace with a prestigious view on the Arno river. The apartment is very bright and panoramic, with every window offering a unique view.

INTERNAL DESCRIPTION:
The apartment has been just restored (July 2008), as you enter you will find: the entrance that gives on the living-room (with a 170 cm sofa bed) and the dining area. This room has three windows all facing the Arno river and from where you can have one of the best direct and full view of the Ponte Vecchio. On the left side of the entrance, there is a small but nice and completely equipped kitchen, and on the right side a corridor from where you reach the double bedroom, the dressing room and the bathroom with shower. The bedroom has one window sharing the same view as the living room on the Pontevecchio. Furnitures are of high quality, some antiques and some others modern. The ceramics of the kitchen and the bathroom are among the best Italian ones. Except the bathroom and the kitchen, the apartment has “cotto” floors and “pietra serena” stairs. Given the luxury interiors and high standard of the apartment we do not recommend this apartment to students.
