This means you could in fact use your own private car that you can safely shelter in the villas underground parking and take your own rent boat or the comfortable water-taxis from the dock, from where you can reach the Villa d’Este or the charming villages of the lake. You can also choose to call the three miles distant International Como Aeroclub and ask their seaplane taxi service to take you directly from the villa boat dock either to a discovery tour of this thrilling alpine lake scenery or to insure your own exclusive commuting with a 10 seats turbine Cessna Caravan seaplane from and to other destinations. (Saint Moritz, Venice, Capri,etc.) In the early nineteenth century, when the two residences were restored by the celebrated dancer Maria Taglioni, who also owned in Venice on Canal Grande the prestigious Ca’ d’Oro, this artist, along with Bellini, Rossini, Franz Lizst, Ricordi, Giuditta Pasta and most of the others famous musicians of her time, was drawn to the Lake Como, and Blevio in particular, by the lake romantic atmosphere and great beauty. The property consists in two aristocratic lakeside villas Villa Serena and Villa Taglioni, dating back to the 18th century. Both have been completely renovated and offer the very best of modern living combined with wonderful fine furniture to the family. They are securely located, down a quarter mile gated road guarded by a quaint old gate-house, in the midst of seven acres of luxuriant gardens and woods which also protect the Villa Serena. The two residences are separated by a small historic harbour flanked by ancient terracotta statues. The owners have personally refurnished these two lakeside aristocratic villas, facing the hotel across Lake Como. Upon request and depending on booking availability it is possible the access to the eighteen holes, Villa d’Este golf course in Montorfano. The Villa Serena offers wonderful walks in the park from where you can reach, the Lake Shore Village with its charming square on the harbour, its seventeen century church and the village garden with its lovely pergola.

The Villa includes three floors. At the Garden floor level: the frescoed entrance hall from the courtyard level with view of the lake; one double bedroom with marble bathroom (tub); one bedroom with two single beds/one double bed, library, fireplace, balcony on the lake, dressing and marble bathroom (tub); one bedroom with one double bed, library, fireplace balcony on the lake and marble bathroom (tub). At the Roof floor level: the frescoed cupola with central balcony on the central floor entrance; one bedroom with two single beds/one double bed, with view on the lake and marble bathroom (tub); one bedroom with two single beds, with view on the lake and marble bathroom (tub); one bedroom with two single beds and marble bathroom (tub). At the lake shore level: the frescoed salon and dining room with double fireplace and direct access on the lakeshore terrace; the entrance, the laundry, one guests’ marble bathroom with shower, the contemporary kitchen fully equipped.
Villa Serena can be also booked together the close Villa Taglioni for a total of 26 sleeps.

The villa is fully air conditioned, elevator, seven acres of luxuriant gardens, panoramic terrace and private dock, Swimming pool shared with Villa Serena, exclusive use of the swimming pool at a 15% overcharge of Villa Maria Taglioni season rateupon request. The service of a very high level will be provided by the professional staff (from 7.30 am to 11pm, 7 days/week) The chef cannot advance any expense for food and beverage purchasing (minimum of 2000 euros have to be sent in advance in order to insure the kitchen and the bar service for the first days).
